Maxwell (Max) Mobley is an IT repair technician supervisor for Sand Industries. Max has an accident with one of the laptops that he repairs, which causes him to be almost fatally electrocuted. Max is unconscious and taken to the hospital. He awakes and realizes he can understand what the electrical devices around him are “saying.”
Max’s newly acquired ability makes him a superstar at work; Max’s team feels unappreciated, since Max is accepting the credit for the increase in repair productivity. Max acquires an enemy, Dr. Tedrillium (Ted) Tedium, who is extremely jealous of the recognition that Max is receiving. Dr. Tedium tries to discredit Max and have his team of technicians lose their jobs by having the repair work outsourced, unless Max agrees to assist Dr. Tedium with his invention.
Company IT technician, Maxwell (Max) Mobley, has an affinity for repairing electronic equipment, which becomes enhanced, due to a freak accident giving him the ability to understand the noises made by the equipment he repairs. When his department faces being outsourced, Max has to rely on his team and his newfound abilities to help keep himself and his team employed.
